THE PINK PASSPORT PROGRAM

 

The Pink Passport Program celebrates LGBTQ+ history month and National Coming Out Day (October 11). Collect passport stamps at LGBTQ+ friendly local businesses and nonprofits. Submit completed passport to be entered into prize drawing that will be held at PFLAG’s annual “History” Halloween celebration, October 21, 2018.

Drawings will be made at the PFLAG “History” Halloween Event Sunday October 21st.

WHERE TO PICK UP PASSPORTS

 

You can begin to picking up your Pink Passports October 1st, 2018. Passports will be available for pickup until October 18. Passports are due no later than October 19 at 3pm but may be dropped off at one of our drop off locations. See Drop-Off Section for more information.

Passports are due no later than October 19 at 3pm but may be dropped off at any one of our drop off locations.

Please keep in mind the business hours of an individual business when you are dropping off your Pink Passport, hours of a business will be kept to their normal hours and will not be changed during the Pink Passport Program drop off period.

THE MAIN EVENT

We hope to see you Sunday October 21st from 5pm-7pm!

  • Come join PFLAG as we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month October 21 2018 5pm at our PFLAG community meeting.

  • Test your knowledge with our FACTs quiz. How many queer figures in history can you name?

  • Come dressed as your favorite LGBTQ+ person or just come to learn about queer history.

  • Winners of our Pink Passport Program will also be drawn and announced!!!

OFFICIAL RULES

  • The Pink Passport program runs from October 1, 2018 to October 19, 2018.
  • Individuals ages 10 and older can participate in the Pink Passport program.
  • Participants can pick up an official Pink Passport at the designated pick-up locations.
  • Pink Passports must be dropped off at drop-off locations by 3 pm on October 19th with stamps from 8 different locations to be eligible to enter the prize drawings. Participants may not have more than one stamp from the same location.
  • No purchase is necessary to participate, however participants are encouraged to support LGBTQ+ friendly locations by patronizing the business/organization.
  • Individuals do not need to be present at the PFLAG “History” Halloween event to win. However, the prize drawings will occur at that time. Pink Passport participants are encouraged to attend the event on Sunday, October 21st from 5-7pm at Westminster Hall at Belle Grove Square (St. Paul’s), 17 Bond Street, Westminster, MD.
  • Each participant must obtain their own stamps for their passport
  • If participants are not present at the prize drawing, the prizes must be picked up within 30 days of being notified of winning.
  • Participants may only enter once.
